The Equator Monument

Pontianak has many places that must be known and must be visited by tourism if they are going to Pontianak city. The Equator Monument is an about five kilometers north of Pontianak city center, that divides the earth into two parts. This place is signed by a monument or a monument that was discovered in 1928 by a Dutch Astronomical Expedition. In 1938 or exactly ten years later, "Equator Monument" was renovated and expanded again by an Indonesian architect named Sylaban.
